Gil Weir
Four and half kilometres south of Miles along the Condamine Road, you’ll find the camping oasis of Gil Weir. A fisherman’s haven, the Weir is stocked with Murray cod and golden perch (fishing permit required). Cool off with a dip in the Weir, hang with the local pelicans and bring your dogs for a walk.

Free Camping
Travel 4.5km south of Miles on the Leichhardt Hwy, turn right onto Gil Weir access road and proceed a further 1.2km to the weir.
