Women’s Retreat Bunya Mountains
March 20 @ 5:00 pm – March 22 @ 5:00 pm
A journey of connection. Step away from the everyday and into the healing space of Country. Immerse yourself in authentic Indigenous culture through a range of unique experiences and handcrafted treasures. This retreat is a chance to recharge, deepen your understanding of Indigenous culture, and reconnect with yourself, others, and nature.
The Maudu Collective approach is a casual, yarning circle style where Valerie interacts with participants. The groups are small so that the participants get a fully immersive cultural experience with 1st Nation Foods and spiritual healing by a traditional healer.
After Valerie’s introduction, attendees can participate in interactive activities over the three days making traditional emu feathered necklace, bush remedies, weave a dilly bag and design your very own Fedora Hat with 1st Nation symbols. Expect to be hands on by touching, smelling, cooking and tasting bush tukka and why they are important to your health.
Share story, yarn and take the opportunity to share in a special individual healing session with a traditional 1st Nation Healer.
