Every two years, the vibrant country town of Miles throws open its gates and invites visitors to experience warm country hospitality, vintage charm, and true bush spirit at the Miles Back to the Bush Festival. It’s a weekend packed with heritage, entertainment, and good old-fashioned fun, held in one of Queensland’s most unique venues, the iconic Miles Historical Village Museum.

Miles Back to the Bush Festival is a celebration of bush life, where the past and present come together in a uniquely country way. Located in Miles, just under 4.5 hours’ drive west of Brisbane along the Warrego Highway. It’s an easy country drive perfect for a road trip, with great scenery and welcoming towns along the way.
Once in Miles, you’ll find the festival based at and around the Miles Historical Village Museum, a truly one-of-a-kind venue that brings local history to life.
